I wanted to break down everything we know about the season 2 battle pass as a whole Talk about what to expect in terms of the content you could get out of it for the upcoming season I will say however, obviously black ops 6 and Warzone have not been great as of late.

There have been a lot of issues with each game and the respective modes in them It’s been a main talking point sometime over the course, you know the past month and a half or so So if you’re not happy with the state of the game.

if you don’t enjoy the changes that season introduces It’s always smart to speak with your wallet Of course, there are free tiers in this battle pass and a lot of the main content is included in those free tiers.

So you don’t necessarily have to buy the pass to enjoy the main takeaways from this season’s offering but of course want to arm you with all the information I possibly can To keep you informed as to what to expect across the board between the base version the black cell and the free access stuff 

All Versions of the Battle Pass Explained

So, of course, the standard stuff is going to be available right away when you go through and purchase the battle pass If you’re interested in doing so there is the base default version that you can purchase just outright.

That’s going to be around 1100 cod points Typically that’s the price point for that 1100 to 1400 in previous seasons Then the black cell which is real money only around 30 in us here Uh, you know respectively so real money versus stuff you can earn in-game.

Depends on what you value the most out of that right if you’re going to buy it at all in the first place But here’s the general rundown of the initial parts of the battle pass.

Call of duty says Dispatch your enemies swiftly and efficiently with the new nocturne operator So this operator is going to be our main one for the season a highly trained assassin who never fails to eliminate any assigned targets Purchase the season to battle past for 1100 cod points There you go at the price point or the season to battle pass bundle for 2400 cod points to immediately unlock the instant rewards Page of the battle pass including the following items a 10 battle pass xp boost.

I won’t lie just seems kind of gimmicky the champ emotes the shared fate legendary blueprint for the xm4 The scarred legendary weapon sticker the nocturne operator and skin along with the nocturne black cell skin For those who purchase black cells, so you will have the base version You can purchase the upgraded version or the enhanced version whatever to get all those instant rewards And the bonus skips and whatnot or of course the black cell.

if you simply just want the free tiers You don’t have to buy any of that at all. They also say the season 2 battle pass includes over 110 pieces of unlockable content excluding black cell including three new base weapons.

This is more than usual typically we see two ranged weapons and one melee in the battle pass This season though. It’s going to be three ranged weapons, which is kind of cool.

So a bit of an upgrade there alongside an under-barrel crossbow attachment new operator skins weapon blueprints, and a whole lot more Uh, so it’s going to be the standard battle pass just obviously shifted into all of the season 2 content.

we’ve seen before can only be purchased with real money No in-game cod points for this which I think is kind of dumb. I’m not gonna lie But they say deploy is the master assassin a new operator vortex.

So straight up with this black, we have an entirely new operator with vortex headlining the season 2 black cell content Equipped with the latest technological advancements in stealth warfare the vortex operator an animated operator skin Emits black and red smoke from his arms and his twin sword handles vortex joins an exciting lineup of black cell content Including operators well equipped to complete their mission.

Whether as an assassin-themed hunter or unlucky target, this will be an animated skin It will sort of glow coming off of it in a lot of situations that can be paid to lose So, you know, it might like be a cool visual skin But you know from a competitive standpoint It might give away your position a little bit more than you might like like that’s been a thing that’s happened several times in The past where the most expensive black cell operator disadvantages you in game Anyways, they do say black cell owners can access the season 2 battle pass via the exclusive black cell page.

This instantly unlocks 20 battle token tier skips so you can progress through the pass a little bit quicker 1100 cod points the bone shard mastercraft blueprint for the jackal and the black smoke weapon blueprint for the AMR mod for a sniper.

The houndstooth finishing moves the black cell clan tag, which you can have displayed on your uh, you know profile and everything Then also, of course, the vortex black cell operator Additionally black cell owners can expect to access the page after page of additional rewards within the season 2 battle pass.

So you get bonus content on top of the standard pages. This includes seven black cell exclusive skins for Nocturne There are going to be two skins a new skin for Rossi Marshall Gray stone And then also toro six black cell exclusive weapon blueprints for the AK-74 The DM10 the Fang 82.

Which is one of the new LMGs the Cypher 091 the new rifle the ASG shotgun And then also the PPSH the new SMG on top of over 130 item rewards Between the base pass and black cell as well for those who fully complete the pass As usual players.

who upgrade to the black cell after purchasing the battle pass will also receive 1100 cod points back and they’re also doing this new thing this year because they want as many people as possible to buy the black Cell.

They’re trying to entice you to do so by giving you a boosted XP number Every season players who purchased the season 1 black cell and go to purchase season 2 Will end up getting a permanent 10-player and weapon XP boost the 10-player XP and weapon xp loyalty bonus Uh is for purchases of subsequent black cell and battle pass seasons up to 50 for black ops 6 seasons only.

So if you’re someone who buys black cell season 1 season 2 season 3 season 4 season 5 all the way through You’ll end up getting up to a 50% xp boost throughout the year as you get more and more black cells available.

Every single season so they want you to stack them basically Although let’s be frank a lot of the time the content is not necessarily worth it It depends on what you value out of your content in the game or if you’re happy Of course with the state of the game as well We do also get some additional looks at some of the operators in the battle pass the vortex skin in game We also get a look at some of the new nocturne skins as well some interesting ones, uh there for sure But of course, we can also focus on some of that free content If you’re not trying to spend any money on the game.

New Season 2 Free Weapons In The Battle Pass

You just spend your time on the game and get this stuff for free as mentioned We’ve got more new weapons in this battle pass than we typically see three available through the various pages So the push will be available as the event reward on page 14.

There’s also going to be a battle pass blueprint as well as opposed to the standard page 6 reward there So Push will have a couple of different unlock capabilities through the battle pass Depending on where you’re starting.

if you do buy the black sale or as you go through and get to that free tier Then we also have the cipher 0.91 assault rifle. This will be available initially on page 8 Hvtt reward and then also on page 11 with the battle pass blueprint.

So again a couple of different options to unlock keep in mind if you do get a blueprint It does unlock the default weapon permanently there even as you go through in prestige as well Then we also have the Fang 82 This is going to be a new leg initially available in page 3 as the host reward.

Then also page 10 is going to include a new battle pass blueprint for that as well So three full-on arranged weapons coming in this battle pass That’ll be free for everyone nice diversity there to new SMG new rifle new LMG Hopefully they do spice things up with the overall meta and those are competitive weapons.

since they’re going to be Free and available for everyone there per usual with the new battle pass weapons a lot of the other content making up the various Individual sectors and other content as you get to the hit tiers is going to be a lot of the standard stuff It’s the double xp tokens the double weapon xp tokens new emblems stickers calling cards things of that nature.

There will also be though which is kind of cool an actual weapon mod available in this battle pass as well With the crossbow attachment This is going to be a part of the battle pass page 7 rewards and this will turn your swat 556 and aek 973 marksman’s into a crossbow.

So kind of a gimmicky one there We’ll have to see if it’s competitive but a nice little change up there In addition to the standard more filler content that makes up a lot of the other pages with each new battle pass.
